Yet, another task..

STORIES: STREET

This task is designed to provide the following challenges:
  • Exploring the potential of your camera (use of shutter speed, tripods, flash, macro, scene settings etc)
  • Producing creative responses informed by a growing understanding of the role of photography
  • Gaining confidence in photographing people
  • Developing your own 'voice' through photography
The challenge:
To produce a set of nine images that explore the street in which you live and the people that occupy it.

3 Portraits:
  • FAMILY MEMBER
  • KNOWN PERSON
  • UKNOWN PERSON
All three portraits should have similarities in style and purpose to work together as a set.

3 Views of your street:
  • A view at night
  • 2 Architectural views
3 images of 'something and nothing':

This is your opportunity to look for for connections and develop your sensitive observational skills. Potential subjects might be discarded objects, markings, spaces, structures... a common theme within these 3 images might be visual, conceptual, social comment...
